Long Beach, NY is am amazing and very active surfside town on southern Long Island that is very close to Manhattan – a lot of surfing, beach volleyball, healthy lifestyles, city-style restaurants, and fantastic art. The Evers family has been part of Long Beach’s history since the early 1900’s.

Scott Evers, an artist himself, knew that Long Beach had an amazing population of artists that were not being properly showcased…so he set out to change that. After much research and persistence, Scott Evers opened Evers Place, A Gallery by the Sea, on September 20, 2008. He converted his father’s original window store into an art gallery that showcases artists from all over Long Beach as well as works by regional, national and international artists in all genres. At his opening night on September 20th, Scott attracted over 450 viewers to the gallery.

As an ActivEntrepreneur, Scott knows that it takes hard work and persistence but it is definitely worth pursuing your dreams. Scott is a very active person which helps to support his active business lifestyle.

Stop in and visit Scott and the work of several talented artists at Evers Place on 949 West Beech Street in Long Beach and visit www.eversplace.com to check out his future gallery events.
